Comparing JDSU/ETEK, GLW is well-under valued. The street is going to know it soon. My short term target (6 months) is at 300. GLW is the stock you must own in fiberoptics components.

GLW to announce many new leading products this week at OFC. JDSU to announce at least 30 new products. This week the fiberoptic sectors shall up sharply.

Looking for a split in this company. They need to keep their price generally in line with other fiber optics competitors; and they are splitting, one-by-one.

JDSU/ETEK merger makes JDSU be the true king in fiberoptics for optical networking. It shall positively impact its stock price. No one can compare with JDSU in fiberoptics now. This merger also puts a lot of pressure to GLW to find same one to merger. SDLI is a good fit for GLW

Andy, what are your thoughts on LUMM as an investment opportunity? They are now priced around 27, but have not released products into production yet. They claim to be able to surpass AVNX at a much lower cost.
