I'd say mea culpa. But blame uf's fishing expedition. He's practicing counting to 100 in anticipation.

Yeh, well don't tell him about this thread. We got enough eric's here, and enough credentialed genius's to fill any curmudgeons croaker sack.

agree! and don't worry...i never tell anyone i know that i hang out here....and i don't tell them about you either.

Yeah, and visit his web site, with careful attention to his cREE thoughts, and those whoopee ding cREE, aRMH, sEBL, qCOM logos.

not sure about sd's dog Q...but i sure like armhy...took a good part of armhy gain last year...with bluetooth coming, i am looking for a new entry...apollo should remember my armhy posts from last year on the rmbs thread.

Yeah, well voop wants a "Project Hunt" on cERT so why not step to the bar?

are you kiddin...i caught so much crap about cree last year...it was around 30 then.
i don't even read most of the main thread anymore.
i like my own dd.
everyone here knows how to do dd...i have mentioned cert several times, that's enough...either ya see it or ya don't...besides i know some good crypto guys...ya'll knew that right?

Should we look at a basket (RSAS, ENTU, CKP, BALT, SVNX, AETH)

helluva good idea...but why did you leave off cert?

Will cUF catch a fish?

somedays fishin....somedays catchin...they are both fun....detailed report to follow.

Well, while all of you were mentally masturbating with the new girl, I WAS WORKING!!!! Some of us have to WORK because Merlin's (and I use that name with the irony that it deserves) stock picks are going in the f#cking tank! I remember when I was thinking of retiring! What a f@cking joke.

Retired or tenured. It's all the same.

when you get a cell phone.

I'll wake you up when that happens too. Two good reasons in the same evening to call you Rip Van Eric.

How about "Noble Nobile Nerlin"?

Think we can work "Nubile" in there somewhere?

He's losing a little weight, but let's not get carried away.

<< G. Moore and CERT >>

Most interesting (Nerlin ain't the only Nerd round here).

Catch 2 company names on the 1st days agenda (Aether Systems & 724 Solutions). They were in the basket I proposed (and yes CERT should have been in the basket). I'm watching SVNX & AETH closely.

There is another Mooore that could burst CERTS bubble. The Moore of Moore's law. ECC's claims less processing power requires than RSA for Public Key computations. Big advantage a few years back. 25 µm & 18 µm silicon technology allowing for very powerful processors on very small chips (which as an ARMH guy you already know) changes the paradigm, IMO.

I commented here on that (see Infineon "88" links):

Message 14355514

G. Moore is well qualified to speak at CERT's PKS conference. He consulted to Security Dynamics (now RSAS) for a year. He treated the RSAS/CERT sector (not CERT itself but SDTI) in the original Manual. Dropped it in the 2nd. Knows PKS from the gorilla perspective. AMEX, MaterCard, Visa banks, are bowling pins.

Sheesh, I'm getting as bad as Judith talking about "something" here. Pardon Moi.
