Thanks, Frank. It's pathetic (and a sign of I don't know what) when its harder to say goodby to the folks at SI than it is a lot of people that I actually know!)

Actually, I do think a few weeks away from the market a few times a year is probably a healthy prescription! (however, my other vacations in recent years have been scuba related to remote places, where the temptation wasn't there as there was no internet access! Europe will be more difficult to resist!)

Keep the market up while I'm gone!

Happy Holidays and New Years to all of you guys! (I know that isn't very curmudgeonly, but what the hell...)

Jeff

Thanks, Jerry.
Yes, the trip is for pleasure (a vacation away from all of those crazy people, at work and around here!)

Best wishes for the holiday to you and yours also.

I expect to come home to NTAP at 180! (post split!)

Best regards,

Jeff

I cannot be responsible for the behavior of NTAP if you are not monitoring the market and the threads, he said, grumpally, with a slight, but crooked grin, hands flailing in the air, bouncing slightly in his ergonomic BodyBilt chair.

would like to propose IMN for a new look - company being repositioned, the way that others have, into a new aspect of the storage game - if you remember, it was a favorite of the person who gave us QCOM thru the tough years - he still seems to like IMN now that it has thrown off its medical x-ray albatross, and cut its tape storage business - do they have some sort of holographic data storage idea, or is that all a bad dream --

Hi, Peter. I took a quick look at IMN, and they've got some impressive numbers. However,
this is the wrong thread for analysis (mostly curmudgeonly griping and joking). Why don't
you bring up the subject on the real g&k thread?

That's just like those Sherman boys. They show up where they are not wanted, are very rude to their hosts, and burn everything is sight!

DS and UF - love you both - I am a Sherman boy, BUT, do you know who the other Sherman boy is?

Well, young man, I was speaking of your Great Great Grandfather, W.T. Sherman (that is so hard to say!)
