<<YOU are the penultimate Curmudgeon! The rest of us are sucking your kneecaps. Hail, oh hail, the king curmudgeon.>>
If ctb is the penultimate Curmudgeon, I'm dying to know who is the ultimate Curmudgeon, and what is higher than a king curmudgeon? Is this a Gorilla, Royalty or Poker game?

You medical folks are taking as much out of me today as Ed Snyder...
To be fair, Ed's trip to the woodshed has been particularly nasty to us medical types also (thanks for the stock tip, Stan).
Besides, with hopes of an early retirement (before ~ 75 or so) slipping away quickly, we've got to provide for our families somehow. Mrs. Noz' Porsche doesn't feed itself, ya know.

The rankings change on a regular basis, but based on the last week's body of work, I'd put Apollo in the #1 position.
That probably means he lost the most money in the past week. Congratulations on your accomplishment, CA.
I'm gearing up to challenge his curmudgeon supremacy, though. The following post explains why.

Do you think we could take up a collection and send that sap, Thornley, back to Nortel?

I second that.
Apollo for Curmudgeon of the month.
Stan has earned it, the good old fashioned way, but I think he was born to the cloth anyway. He makes DownUnder look like a Flower Child.
Great Day. All green but one. Thanks Ed you schmuck (the part they throw away)!

I would prefer to take one up for Snyder, and send him to Finland with Tero to tour the Porsche factory where they are attempting to retrofit those engines.

You send me those nice PMs and then you say this in public!?!?!?!
I see through this conspiracy. I am preparing my acceptance speech because justice will be served. |

I think it is a tie, between CUF, for the reasons he started this thread, and Curmudgeon Sir Dancelot, because he has always been a plain-talkin' straight-shooter.

Sorry, folks. Everyone else around here may have a death wish but it's just not that important to me. Especially now that I know who won, it's been confirmed that it definitely wasn't worth the ultimate sacrifice.
