I am awarding Scott Entsminger the Curmudgeon of the Year award.

AP) -- The Browns are giving a jersey to the family of a fan who asked for six players to serve as pallbearers at his funeral.
Scott E. Entsminger, 55, of Mansfield, Ohio, died on July 4 at his home.

In his obituary in the Columbus Dispatch, Entsminger, a lifelong Browns fan, requested "six Cleveland Browns pallbearers so
the Browns can let him down one last time."

Sweet kid. Let's hope he inherited his mom's personality along with her good looks... and his dad's talent and focus.

To any old "Gorillas and Kings" posters who were with "Uncle Frank" and I back in 99, Frank Richardson died last week. I not only knew him here, we got together at the 2000 Qualcomm convention and later in Vegas. I got he and his wife into dancing and they ended up teaching it. Good man and friend. R.I.P.

NCAA Mens Basketball's 'One Shining Moment' 2016 ...

"There has never been a national championship game quite like the one that took place in Houston on Monday night. There have been other remarkable endings — Lorenzo Charles’s buzzer-beating dunk in 1983 instantly comes to mind — but nothing that compares to the climax of Villanova’s 77-74 victory over North Carolina. ... Why? Because both teams made shots that will be remembered forever in the final five seconds. If Carolina had gone on to win the game in overtime, Marcus Paige’s off-balance, double-pump three-point shot with 4.7 seconds left would have been remembered [... and fallen into a play-it-again-and-again category along with Michael Jordan’s jumper in 1982 and Keith Smart’s off-balance baseline jump shot in 1987. It would have been historic. Except that Kris Jenkins topped it, swishing his winning three-pointer with less than a second left setting off the wildest postgame scene since North Carolina State Coach Jim Valvano’s famous run to nowhere after Charles’s game-winner in Albuquerque 33 years ago" ... - John Feinstein |Washington Post -

• Villanova vs. North Carolina: Final 90 seconds of the national title game ...

• ... UNC's Marcus Paige 3 pointer ties it with 6 seconds left ...

• the last 4.7 seconds with 'Nova's Kris Jenkins' 3 point buzzer-beater game winner...
