I'm curious. Does CN have access to railroads in Alaska. Do rails in Alaska even exist? Why not go for the grand prize and link North America with Asia via the TransSiberian railroad through the Bering Straights? Would this even be possible?

What rail stocks need is bolder ideas and ways to increase speed to counter trucks and air. Rail regs are way to stingent IMO. If I'm not mistaken the max speed in the US is 65 mph. Is this right?

Sincerely,
Ben

Buy CNI for hot IPO

Canadian National Railway is expected to receive approximately 9.4
million shares of an upcoming hot IPO. 360networks, which will debut
next month, may challenge 724 Solutions as this year's best-perfoming
IPO. SVNX is now more than seven times its IPO price!

Another company that will profit from the IPO will be Shaw
Communications (SJR, SJR.b on TSE), which has an equity investment
of $100 million in 360networks. See
