I really don't think we can go wrong here..stock has been trading flat for quite some time. I entered with a small position and will add as we increase in price. Bermingham has a great track record and I'm sure he'll do well with SCCO.....IMO of course.

OUCH! Tuesday January 18, 3:10 am Eastern Time

Smith Corona sees shortfall, considers options

NEW YORK, Jan 18 (Reuters) - Typewriter company Smith Corona Corp.
(NasdaqSC:SCCO - news) said Monday it expects its second fiscal quarter results to be
below its expectations and that these shortfalls may impair its ability to finance operations.

The Cortland N.Y.-based company said it expects the loss for the quarter to fall between $2 million and $3.5 million, on sales
of about $7.7 million. That compares with a loss of $6.3 million for the same period last year.

Yep...big ouch. Kind of funny how this news comes right after a huge, very positive WSJ article on Friday. As I said, I entered cautiously but will continue to hold.

Smith Corona Update! (Nasdaq: SCCO)

SCCO says new calculator line is now in Office Depot! Good news for next quarter's earnings.

Price right now (.81 x.87) on a float of 2.1 million looks pretty good right now.

ATTENTION ALL !!! Is anyone watching the after market activity on Smith Corona (Nasdaq: SCCO)?

This is one of the most bizarre things I have ever seen in the stock market! Something is going on...takeover? Buyout? I don't know...but something is happening for sure!!!

After hours activity is unbelievable! Price changes up to $4.00/share on a stock that closed at about a dollar.

Anyone with level II should go to the transaction log and look at the trade and price activity after the bell. You won't believe it.

Yes,

I had a buy order in yesterday at 15/16 that just sat there and expired right at 4pm, but then the B/A shot well over $1 right at 4pm, and the number of orders on the island on both sides instantly tripled. I was a bit P.O'ed that I did not get a fill during normal hours even though my limit order sat right in between the B/A for over 20 minutes.

I own a lot of SCCO, so I am hoping that North is the direction it is going finally.

I am curious as to how this aftermarket can occur like it did. Is there a system that accumulates only "after-hour tradeable orders" that kicks in at 4pm regardless to the activity during the day ? First time I have noticed this.

I don't know why the activity occurred either. Very strange. I hope today will tell the story.
