I truly feel as trader's that we are being distracted by this election thing. Trend is down, economy is slowing (perhaps too much), earnings growth has showed signs of slowing, the .com frenzy is over and has drained mucho money from many,interest rates are too high and I think gold is soon to be a huge buy.

I guess to sum up my feelings we are smacking our heads against a wall trying to pick a bottom when we should probably be shorting the hell out of every rally.

I don't think either man as next Pres is going to change this.
