I see ENTU mentioned quite a bit lately, and often the reference to the large short position is included in the discussion. Do you have more current info re: short position other than end of month numbers? If not, how do we know that the recent pop to 30 was not short covering, thus reducing the short position considerably?
Don't get me wrong, I like the action of ENTU, and think it has held up admirably this week. I have traded is several times, and bought some more on Friday, leaving room for an additional position should the market fall into the abyss on Mon or Tuesday. I think ENTU is immune from margin calls, so that should not be a problem!
Thanks for any info you might have....

Jorj, Cool! For the weekend, you can find me in one of the many tavern rooms, hidden from sunlight, drinking warm beer and dreading the reopening of the market.

Just kidding.

Have a good weekend.

Hello Bocor,
Normal trading volume for ENTU is about 1.2M shares.
finance.yahoo.com

There are approximately 3.5M shares short
viwes.com

On a 13.1M float
biz.yahoo.com

With somewhere near 24% of the float being short, I would expect at least twice the average volume on the short covering rally. And I would expect it to cause a more significant move up.

The new numbers for the short interest come out on the 15th of each month, I believe.

So the short answers are, no I don't have more current info and no, I do not think that we saw any significant short covering.

I agree, if we begin to see a turn around in the market, ENTU could perform really well.

Even in this market down draft, it seems to be holding it's ground here in the mid 20s pretty well.

Edit: Sleeting/snowing right now and lots of thunder and even some lightening. Oh well, I got a LAG bday grub. Thanks<g>
