Excuse me, but are you guys talking about LUV?

>>Having contributed to about 20% of SWA's topline growth all by myself, SWA was a no brainer<g><<

Jorj, That does not work with my schedule. I am flying to lovely Buffalo with a group of guys for a weekend of Beer, southern Canada and a bills/colts game. The flight is at 4:15.....This will create a dilemma at around 2:30. thanks for the info.

I concluded that's what you meant since I couldn't find a symbol "SWA"! I am somewhat surprised that they are #1, though. I guess I shouldn't be with Kelleher at the helm! Luv that guy.

That's the Internet and on-line trading...The new paradigm...

I remember paying $1,000.00 just to buy or sell a stock. If people had to pay those high commissions again, do you think we would see these swings?

Didn't someone here say that someone lost their total gains in Apple with this 50% loss we just seen? I thought they said they owned Apple for years? Well Apple was trading at a lot lower prices just 2 years ago, and didn't it have a stock split, if I am not mistaken, so if that investor had Apple for years, he should still be in BIG profits???????? Just 2 years ago Apple was in the 10.00 range.

Like Arno said, Pandoras Box is opened.

PS
The phrase "Long Term Investor" is still valid, and safer for most as companies with a solid plan will continue to grow!

Given end of quarter and "window dressing" it's not surprising that CSCO is soft today... BUT, I would guess that this is an excellent entry since most funds will want to take advantage of the year end tech run. Would you agree?

One thing that concerns me is that both INTC & AAPL said they were going to be light on revenue. I guess everyone was scrambling to pay their fuel bills in September...
