In a local seattle computer rag they mention mp4 as the one that will be used by major music companies. I am away from home, when i get back will transcribe some of the article.
It may or may not be the same as the one you posted earlier

I have a number of MP4 songs I downloaded. Nice format. You don't need a player as the player is built into the song. Just click on the song and a nice mini player along with the song shows up.

Kinda neat, but I don't know how it's going to catch on.

We are seeing allot of new companies and products testing the waters. Some are going to make it, so won't.

That's the hard thing to predict.

I had a link to the creator of the MP4, When I find it, I'll post it.
