Dear Junior: Until you purchase a new computer let me suggest something to you. I noticed that when I downloaded the latest version of Real Player that for some reason it is on my browser also. So, when I am ready to go On Line I hit control alternate delete to eliminate Real Player from my browser. If you should need it it will pull it up again. JDN

Capt,

You're probably right ... veeerrry slow especially CPQ, only 500K in past hour ... should be 4x that .... still think CPQ'll end up + for the day ... the FMs still have about 20 min to enter

Michael

I like and use the realplayer so I don't want it to go away. I also noticed that I have a Real Guide button on the IE5 toolbar. I like that too. And with the extra ram it all runs faster than IE4.

Thanks,
jb

Dear Junior: It wont go away, all that happens is it gets off your browser until you need it then it automatically is called up. Now when you turn your computer off and back on it will be back on your browser again and you have to go through the same routine again. JDN

And as predicted by the Max-Pain Options Analysis the close at 25 1/8
was just 1/8 above the Max-Pain level :^)

Wonder where the Max-Pain point is for June expiration...

/Piotr

I agree--- hope the Max PAin for CPQ JUne comes out fast...

I did a check on all the Max PAin stock closings versus predicted closings....

3/18 were right on--- CPQ, AMAT, and SUNW.

8 were too high.

7 were too low.

When I asked how many were within 10%, 12 out of 18 were.

Of course this is a one time sampling... but now I'll really be curious next month.

WHat it means is that any options written on CPQ (25), AMAT (55), and SUNW (60) this month would have expired worthless... If there was only some consistency in these predictors! (g)

El,

Haven't even checked the thread for a while, just put ole CPQ in the back of my mind and life for a while. Still wishing it was 1/27 and I traded out of the pig. It's too easy to look back though isn't it? We all got to 50 price, but naturally wanted more after all the time waiting for the thing to pay off.

Oh well, besides the obvious negatives associated with CPQ, I do hope all is going well with your other investments these days, as well as for the other CPQ thread regulars.

Best regards,

JMaz

AV.COM will be huge. It is already a top rated search engine and is under the process
of incorporating shopping and zip.com But I hear that CPQ will rush it to market within
30 days to fend off CPQ lawsuits.
