A great thing about Recall is that it can be turned off, though as the article states, it is enabled by default in the setup process unless you opt out. That means inexperienced or otherwise unaware users could have it enabled without fulling understanding the ramifications of what it does. |

You'll have to call Cox after you've set it up to give them the MAC address on it so they can add it to your account.
You also might have to clone the MAC address in your router settings to allow the Arris to work, but that varies with each router model. Try that if you can't get it to work after contacting Cox about the MAC address. |
