Wow! The first post on this thread in 2004 !!

Grubbed by the same guy who grubbed the first post in the prior 5 years. All addressed to the same person.

Message 19460731

What can I say ...

SIX in a row. If they gave out championship rings for 1st posts on a thread in a year, I'd have one for each finger of my left hand ... and one for my big toe.

So ... what's happening with all those clueless folks from yesteryear?

Have you decided whether it is a fantasy or a fraud? I'm still on the fence. Wow, 365 --- a leap year number!

366 is the leap year number. It's 365 1/4 so every four year a leap day is added to catch up.

Didn't we fix that ?
or
Fraud !!!

I am sure that one of our claims included fixing that up so years didn't have that annoying 1/4 at the end.
I am sure that was in one of our brochures, it was going to be fixed up by the new software.
We proposed a new machine to slow the Earth down just a bit, it had fins, we even had a BIG dial on the machine.

Some of our claims might have seem a trifle overblown in retrospect but that is natural given the tendency to hindsight, once that is overcome the future looks bright. The DOW only fell 3% last week so we have what, like 30 weeks left, who cares about the Nasdaq, show me the money.

You must have missed the memo on that one.

The new machine (we called it "FBN de-rotator") worked great, but the darned naturalists lobbied World Congress to restore the Earth to its original rotation.

Had something to do with the lunar cycle being disturbed, tidal waves, and stuff like that.

And here you thought the 28 day cycle was only a PITA for husbands !!

We built it !
or
Memos are great

Where did we find the naturalists ?
How much did we pay them ?
Did they get the same copy of the brochure that we got ?
The 28 day cycle ? I never got that memo, what is all that about ?

We should make more brochures.
I don't really think we ever built anything did we ? I thought it was all based on the power and clarity of our brochures, which described the proposals we were entertaining for consideration of inclusion into our brochures, describing the processes we were selecting and examining for further brochures.

TED, A long time. I can hardly believe you're still playing on FBNA. Earth rotation, com'on. It may somewhat warp space-time configuration but a reading of Brian Green's " elegant universe" and his and others' theories on superstrings, black holes, and our 10 dimensional universe make rotation child's play. Did you ever do the IPO you considered? The one after pinkie. Larry

"Did you ever do the IPO you considered?"

You're not referring to WebNode, are you? If you are, it was incredibly successful.

Today, I am proud to say, almost every person on the Internet has one, or at least a pirated copy.

Duke, I've no idea. Got CRS these days. I only remember TED offering preferred shares. Thought is was going to be healthcare related. So WebNode was even a bigger hit than FBNA! I seem to miss all the good ones. Larry
