FBN Associates to Lunch PasswordsRUs.com
SEDONA, AZ -- (BIDNESS WIRE)--April 7, 1999-- FBN Associates (Nazdaq:FBNA) today announced the launch of their new web site: PasswordsRUs.com. Said newly named CEO Tom C: "I had all these darn web site passwords scribbled on post-it-notes all around the office and I thought, 'hey, this is crazy'. I figured what better place to store passwords for web sites than the web itself? So thanks to Mr.B and the folks in R&D, I proudly announce the debut of PasswordsRUs.com."
PasswordsRUs.com's unique patent-pending design allows web surfers create accounts where they can store all their web passwords. There's even a utility that allows them to FTP their browser's password file to the site for quick translation and storage. Even better, there's no messy username or password to remember to access the site! Simply create and access your account using your e-mail address!
According to Director of Communications Joseph Svejk: "Everyone who accesses the site can also sign up for an FBNAdvantage number. The more people you get to sign up, the more FBNAdvantage points you accrue which you can later trade in for valuable merchandise from a wide variety of internet shopping malls."
About FBN: FBN is not a Y2K company. We are an internet company, dammit!
Disclaimer: This release contains forward looking statements, but only as forward looking as 1/1/2000. After that it's every person for themselves. Please be aware that FBN headquarters is protected by very high electrified barb wire fencing with guard towers manned by ex-KGB officials. |

Jeff,
Wow, that's great! So how is the "online wallet" web site going? The prototype forms with CC type, CC Number and Mother's maiden name, looked good. Just think of it, when you call VISA because of erroneous charges and they ask all these pesky questions you can simply look it up on the Internet. Beginning with my participation in the beta, this has come in handy with surprising frequency! Based on just my experience, it looks like a win-win situation. A needed service for our customers and new revenue for FBNA. Way to go Jeff!
I'll admit that the revenue part has me confused, isn't this a free service? Does this have something to do with the new Internet business model you were proposing at the last meeting?

Jorj,
Imagine how I feel. He didn't mention a single one of my accounts (note to self, did I really want to say that?). Opps!, I meant to say he didn't mention any single one of my posts on webnode.com or funphone.com. Who do you think clued him in? Your right if you guessed me! He did send me a nice note today.
TC,
Here it is.

It was finished a few days ago but it only got online now. Thanks for pointing them out. I was working on something else and would have missed them. Let me know what you think.
