Subject: Old Website

Hello:

Is AETI in business or have they gone out of business?

The AETI website has not been updated since Dec 1997.

THis looks like a very bad sign.

I am very confuse by your last press release, advertising the new
product "Stealth Drive;" indicated that this new product could be
bought at the AETI Website.

But your website looks like AETI is out of business since dec 1997.

Please help me understand whats going on. Thanks

.NEWS!!!!! Advanced Encryption Technology of America, Inc.

LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 1998-- Steven Fox, President, Advanced Encryption Technology of America, Inc. (OTC BB: AETI) announced today that revenues of $100,000 have been generated over the past three months by two major ongoing software contracts in Europe (a Major Military Organization and a Fortune 500 European Bank). These contracts have supported our European marketplace, which we expect to grow at a considerable rate.

''Once the agreed upon software changes for the product have been completed, tested and accepted we will conclude negotiations and determine the total number of units that are to be shipped. It is at this time that the major revenue stream begins for the company. The work on these two contracts is scheduled to be completed by calendar year end and they will continue to generate $30,000 monthly revenues until that time'', said Mr.Fox.

AETI also expects that the first revenues generated by the agreement signed with Dynasty Components, Inc. shall start to come in within the next 30 days. Revenues will begin at a moderate rate and should build very quickly each month there after. As previously announced it is anticipated that $500,000 will be generated in the first twelve months, of this agreement.

In other developments, Mr. Fox stated that Ken Andruski, President, of AETI CANADA, has advised that the British Post Office is currently evaluating our Windows NT product. After a successful evaluation, AETI would be placed on an approved product list, this could make AETI's product the only NT security product in the Post Office. Based upon preliminary conversations it is anticipated that this agreement will also generate revenues in excess of $500,000 over the first twelve
months.

''Its been a long time coming'', says Fox, ''for the past two years we have been designing the most sophisticated and the easiest to use encryption products found anywhere in the marketplace. We have been signing multi-million dollar contracts, designing and delivering proto-types to major Corporations, Militaries and Government Agencies all over the world. It is now our time to reap the benefits of our labors, by receiving a steady and ever-increasing revenue stream. We feel, from this point forward AETI will be not only the number one choice for Computer Security, but we will be the only choice.''

Advanced Encryption Technology Inc. is a developer, manufacturer, licenser/licensee and supplier of cryptographic software and hardware solutions to militaries, governments, Fortune 500 customers, and consumers. The company's ''AccessDenied'' Suite of products capitalizes on leading edge smartcard and software technology, which presents customers with cost- effective, high performance data security solutions. FNTN progress report; Revenue and clients:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
To: Malcolm Lindsey (7775 )

Malcolm & All:
I have just received a response from Michael Sheppard to three recent questions I posed. Below is the Q&A followed by my personal conclusions.

WH - Q1: Have all ends of the INTRAnet system been completed, tested & delivered?

MS: yes

WH - Q2:. Are you getting the revenue stream you were expecting for this quarter?

MS: It is starting to ramp. But it takes at least 30 days to provision than there is a 30 day period of billing then the bill goes out.

WH - Q3: Where are the phone cards promised to everyone who filled out the questionnaire on your internet site?

MS: They are on the way.

WH - My Personal Conclusions:
1. A totally working Intranet is very good news, Period.
2. Please note in answer #2 that custom delivery ("provision") to a new client takes approximately 30+ days. This is critical. Assuming they are making sales, it means they are close to or already receiving cash flow. As I have previously mentioned, usage and billing works almost exactly the way any basic telephony contract works so revenue is rapid and constant.
3. As far as the phone cards - it's no big deal, but the question has been asked and I wanted to know that FNTN intended to honor that commitment. They haven't forgotten.

For me, this response has clarified two very important questions concerning deployment and revenue expectations (not numbers - just that FNTN is on target for revenue flow this Q). I hope this information has been helpful to you, too.

Regards to all and good luck,
Wally

The Importance of having a Siemens Vice President as a Board Member of FNTN:

From yesterday's conversation with MM:

The most important questions were about Stephen S. Weller (Vice President of Sales for the Computer Systems division of Siemens Information and Communication Products LLC and is on Board of Directors of FNTN).

Mr. Weller can mentioned FNTN during meetings, conferences and presentations, he also has contacts with potential clients for FNTN.

SIEMENS had to approve Stephen Weller appointment to Board of Directors due to exposures that FNTN will get “under” SIEMENS name. This is very significant IMO, since not too many start ups have a big company behind them.

Q&A from FNTN

Questions 11-17-98:

Dear Mr. Sheppard,
A comment was made on the SI board specking about the lack of news. The following was posted and I wanted to know if there is any basis in fact.

1. FNTN customers are required to keep agreements with FNTN secret along with what services are being offered/used

2. Siemans now controls news releases from FNTN

Your stock holders need some news, good, bad, or ugly. It has been several months since any thing has been released concerning the company products. I recall a comment attributed to you that news would be "sooner than later" but that was months ago. Please throw the stock holders a bone to chew on. We are at each other throat now on both boards just specking.
Thank You

Answers 11-18-98:

1. At the present time ....yes
2. NO!
3. I know we have not said as much as the shareholders would like. Remember there is no such thing as an overnight success. The overnight success generally takes time. We have scheduled our shareholders meeting for 12.21.98. This will be noted on our website when it is totally firmed up.

Best Regards,

Michael Sheppard

--------------------------------------------------

At Least the rumors have been answered and a date for the annual meeting is being considered for 12-21-98. Surely news will be here prior to the meeting or just after. If none I can see a rough time for us all.

Lou
