Josef,
Holy Macaroni.... thanks for the heads-up. I will of course have to evaluate the massive amounts of info you have provided. I thank you for the time it took to post and research the info.
I want to believe U.S. Microbics products and management are credible and hope that this doesn't throw a foul light upon them. Thanks again. |

I M curious, Josef: <<Humbly report, BRS, as I have said before, I do not know anything about BUGS and do not intend to investigate, so that is a separate issue.>> You don't investigate a company, yet you post derogatory messages on its bulletin board...and assign it to some graveyard, based on a recommendation of an outfit you, and others, believe to be suspect in its recommendations. You claim to have no opinions as to BUGS and further state that you have no intentions of investigating this company. If tomorrow, Stellarstocks, and/or it affiliates, start touting Yahoo, Intel, Microsoft, Cisco, IBM and a number of other stocks I can think of, will you post the same type of uninformed nonsense on their bulletin boards? Based on your lack of information and investigation, why should we give you any more credence than the folks you criticize? Yours, Steve |

Humble question, BRS, are you serious?
Are you really going to compare "Yahoo, Intel, Microsoft, Cisco, IBM" to an OTCBB stock that traded what, 19k shares today? Do you really mean to tell me manipulating the price of "Yahoo, Intel, Microsoft, Cisco, IBM" is even possible, let alone comparable? Clearly not! BUGS could be moved in any given direction with pocket change!
Look, in my humble opinion I've been exceedingly kind in my posts here. Fact is there is ZERO doubt in my mind that the management of this company supplied FNTT with shares to hype their BUGS to the moon. Fact is there is ZERO doubt in my mind that management that chooses the clowns at FNTT to do ANYTHING for them is the type of management with whom contact using a ten foot pole seems way too risky to me.
Manipulation? Yup, sure comes to mind. Why in the world do I need to investigate further? A blind man would see something ain't right, in my humble opinion, of course.
So. Keep your BUGS, or whatever, but please, don't give me that esoteric crap about how I should have investigated this further, OK?
Me? I'd want to make sure the place is fumigated before risking a BUGS infestation in my portfolio.
Oh, by the way:
biz.yahoo.com - Super insider confidence, huh? sec.yahoo.com - Lovely bottom line, huh?
Case closed. I'm outa here.
Cheers,

Josef
How do any of these guys match up in your evaluation as promotional firms?
ibchannel.com
Should all of the companies they aggregately represent be avoided?
Also are you aware of any licensing (state or federal) that a promo firm must meet? Otherwise it would seem that anyone could hype for a fee. |

Josef,
Of course I'll bet you wish you were indulging in a beer chaser by the mail slot of the FBN mail room, virtually near the first arch of the Mala Strana side of the Charles Bridge, where they serve great hot rum.... and since your not....
....Of course you are correct that the question I posed is too large and order for the likes of an answer. I suppose it was also intended to demonstrate that there are numerous promotional firms out there doing what they are paid to do.... promote.
I don't have a problem with that as long as they meet all required SEC and other laws in their promotional efforts. I do have a problem with pumps and dumps.... as should any investor... but the mere fact that an insider has filed a form #144 doesn't suggest that BUGS hired a promo firm simply to escalate the share price so as to perform a quick exodus. After all the names that appeared there all had certain common elements and the shares sold seem to be a very small amount.
Also in case you are interested.... U.S. Microbics announced late yesterday the appointment of Arthur Andersen as an accounting agency for BUGS.
biz.yahoo.com
I do believe that Arthur Andersen is pretty responsible as to whom they take on as customers. As such can it suggest that BUGS is credible on the one hand.... while somewhat irresponsible for their selection of a promotional firm on the other hand?
Obviously at some point in time a company such as BUGS feels it necessary to break out of the pack in terms of having itself noticed from the other 13,000 companies that are publicly traded. As such... some may hire IR or PR firms to promote themselves. If they hire companies that have records of unlawful activity (ie., non-notification of paid status) than the company hasn't handled things well and shame on them. Yet on the other hand if they hire PR firms that are full compliance is that really so troublesome?
I realize that U.S. Microbics is a small company currently.... yet don't all developmental-to-operational-stage companies also go through these same growing pains? Bottom line... I trust that BUGS appointment of the PR firm that aroused your ire doesn't spell trouble through association for BUGs.
I am really glad you took the time to post your concerns here b/c that is what these boards are supposed to be about...expressing facts and formulating opinions and ideas based on those facts. The fact is that this board has been in existence for some time and yet hasn't had the type of activity that I would have hoped for given the nice upmovement in the shareprice. Perhaps your presence here will change that. |

Svejk
BTW I always wanted to ask you.... where is FBN and what do they do? I recall seeing a gun-safe that had the FBN initials on it and only remember that the F stood for Fabrique. Is that the same FBN?
Thanks again

Humbly report, Frank, I have no problems following the logic of your argument.
However, my personal approach to investing follows a number of rules, the first of which is this: #reply-8470699.
Regarding FBN Associates - FBNA - here is a start:
techstocks.com
In the interest of full disclosure, I'm the FBNA mail room clerk. ;-)

Absolutely serious...I've seen more rumors with regard to stocks from folks trying to time things for short sellers that its sickening. After you posted here, BUGS dropped below $4 for the first time in quite a while...were you short on this stock? Sold at over $4 and covered a few thousand shares at $3 7/8? You admit you didn't investigate this stock and don't plan to...because some promoter chose to promote this stock is sufficient reason for you to blast it. My simple "humble" observation is if the same promoter touts another stock, and I named a few, would you blast them, without further research into the stock? The issue isn't the promoter but the stock. I feel that the folks who work for any company I invest in are trying to do a good job, etc., i.e. are the folks at BUGS putting out a product that is valuable and will be accepted in the marketplace? You concern yourself with who is, or isn't, promoting the stock. The company is the important thing, not the touters, or detractors, like you who have no interest in learning what this company is all about. In this country, anyone who judges, and castigates, another person or group of persons based on the color of their skin, their sex, religious belief or political affiliation would be subjected to a withering barrage of epithets from all sides. Comprens cher? Yours, Steve |
