I had purchased the stock at the beginning of May when the company announced the introduction of an over-the-counter herpes treatment. The main problem is the company did not have the funds to launch the product. So, the stock tanked.

Hopefully yesterday's report will put some life into Meditech's prospects. As with most early stage cancer drugs, use in humans is still a long way off.

Sure, yesterday was a good day based on the news. But the bottom line is the company is still under-funded. Long term prospects are good, but the next couple of months probably won't see much action, unless they can raise capital to get the herpes medication on the market.
