VRC is high on my buy list for today. I believe it is time now to get back into the sector, and VRC appears to be among the strongest in many areas.
#1) Their stock price has held up poorly compared to the rest of the sector, and this is the only area of concern for me (assuming "the market" knows which stocks are the best). osxstocks.com
#2) Their earnings growth numbers are right at the top of the sector osxstocks.com
#3) Their earnings estimates have held up very well. osxstocks.com
#4) And their gross margins continue to improve. osxstocks.com
#5) The daily stochastics trading system suggests the short term downcycle is over, and it is time for a rally in the sector osxstocks.com

For similar reasons, I'm also looking at RIG, FGII, ATW, EVI, DO, and CXIPY. GLBL also looks good, but I'm concerned that it too is suffering new lows.

Two really good days in a row for Varco. Wish I picked up more at 5 and change. Looking to make a purchase but will see whether it succumbs to profit taking. This stock found its bottom and should see 15+ a year out from now. NE and RDC also look to be good buys at this juncture. Though it might be best to wait until after super tuesday is over.

Yeah, looks like another good day. I refuse to chase it up though, maybe I'll pick some up after the next dip osxstocks.com

Both VRC and VTS (the two V's) have done extremely well during this up-cycle.

Noon sellers pushed it down to 8 3/8. Should have sold it all at 9

Barbara-
RS on a sell and in O's and you're still in this stock? Yeah, so am I, but I'm in at higher prices than you are. There's rumors about SLB buying SII, so that oughta spill over into this one on Monday.

Good luck.

RS on a sell

3dRSI is kicking north, reflecting Friday's reversal.

IMO, this stock is trading strong. The pullback didn't
even hit the 21 EMA before it reversed. I'm expecting
VRC to have a great week.

Puddles..... What can I say? VRC said it in the last couple of trading days. I have been in it before I got my feet wet in P&F and haven't gotten out of it, but the way it WAS going last week, thought I knew more than P&F. :-)

Northstar-
RS on a sell
I was talking about P&F RS, which measures a stock's performance versus an index. RSI has been looking strong, I agree.

<edit> I just checked your profile, and recalled your note on the SAVLY thread (movin' good today!). I also like ASYT and CTAL.
