HI Eddie,

Great car. No Jim doesn't ring a bell .

Half of the students were A section and half were B section - so we only knew half of the students.

L88's are just awesome.

Girls were in small quantity at GMI.

Good to meet you.

Bob

Hi Bob, Re: Corvette Color for 2019..............

Road America picked up three of these to use as Pace Cars for this year. They couldn't resist with the paint color being "Elkhart Lake Blue."
gmauthority.com

It's one of the nicer Blues to come on the Corvette along with Le Mans Blue (2007) and Daytona Blue (1964).

A great race today at R.A. Not much competition for 1st but the next 5 were excellent to watch. I was impressed with Scott Dixon spinning on Lap 1, dropping to dead last and then coming back to claim 5th. Nice Drive!

With apologies to the Beach Boys, we'll have no more "fun, fun, fun" as California takes the dune buggy away..

The mind behind the Ford's Mustang and Chrysler's K-car and minivan.

A great car guy, who had the finger on the American car buying pulse.

He was also very aggressive for a large Corporation employee.

He saw that his genius would not get him to the top of the "Family Controlled Ford", and went on to save the very troubled Chrysler.

He was one of a hand full of people that the UAW respected and believed.

He was an inspirational leader to me personally.

Rest In Peace Mr. Iacocca, Heaven is a better place with you and your straight forward ways of doing big business, In a BUY AMERICAN WAY!!!

Bob

His interaction with the UAW was a first in the car industry and was largely based on the European model of engaging unions and making them part of the decision making process. He was way ahead of his time.

Hi Kidl,

Yes he was. Even thought it was OK to give the union a bonus after a good year. Far different from the greed GM management showed when they wanted a bonus for market share losses!

He was a great man!
