I don't know how you can make that deduction. A more accurate deduction it that they don't want you to buy under .406. At .406 or better they are happy for you to buy. If you want proof, just put in an order at .406. You will see that it will be filled immediately.

This is Bull S*%! hopefully once the company comes out with a press release explaining what happened and what they plan to do with our money (I'm hoping it's for an acquisition) we might start moving up, otherwise we'll stay at these levels. I'm still F%&*@#@! pissed they pulled this crap without a pre-announcement, maybe we'll see our CEO back on Hard Copy again, this time the show will be on how to sCRew shareholders.
p.s. For the last two weeks KANA has still been my one and only DOG I guess 7 out of 8 isn't doing too bad. |

I sold at $0.50 (luckily I sold a few at $1 a while back so I didn't lose too terribly much, bought in at 7/8). I sold because the price was deteriorating in the face of good news, which didn't make sense. Now we know it was because of a private placement that they literally kept quiet. Not a very nice thing to do to your loyal shareholders. And try as I might, I can't fight the trend. Now I can pick some up at 3/8, possibly lower if the trend continues. I won't buy in until I see a reversal of the trend.

I am mad too at KANA for having done what they have done (504
placement). But I am hoping they will have reasonable investment
plans for spending the proceeds of the 504. As I said I was
very insistent on getting the details of 504 placement.
All said and done, I certainly hope the sells are over.

Looks intriguing, but also reminds me of "another" stock with all the potential that didnt deliver. Just got done reading the Wall Street West Research Report and it sounds all fascinating even though these reports are written in the superlative.

malibu, I just read your referenced newsletter. What I found interesting was not the skimpy write up on kana as much as the previous report on sycr. I got my chain yanked as an investor in sycr. Let me illustrate an important difference between kana and sycr.
Syncronys ceo was pulling down 3 or $400k or more per year in straight salary. His stock is now around 17 cents. Kana, on the other hand, is also selling at a low price. However, Mr. Kanakaris along with senior management does not draw his full salary on a regular basis. This is a ceo with a vision (don't mean to sound corny here). I just really want to emphasize that this management team has the confidence to sacrifice today's pay day in order to build for a brighter future tomorrow. This is exactly the kind of hungry management style that I seek to invest in.
So they did a 504. They needed money to run the company not line their own pockets. On the other hand, the company has minimal debt. Read the last sentence again. And company insiders have sold NO stock. the stock price in the short term at least will be manipulated up and down. The important point remains that insiders are holding their shares. Leave the short term trading to specialists like Make a Fuss.
I agree that management should have pre announced the private placement. But give them a chance. After all, the management team is fairly new at investor relations. Descience may have been around for 25 years but current management only 1 to 2. They may have made a few mistakes with investor relations but their specialty is building a successful communications company. The stock is very cheap today but it won't be next year at this time.

Hey Neil, hope you make out in this stock..... I've never owned any of the stock tho I did have a chance to pick up some of the 504 at .75 cents when it was trading at 1 and 7 teenies or there abouts. Didn't like the smell in this deal and decided not to close escrow.... I have this stock on my screen and follow it daily. Would be very happy to own this stock but I'm afraid i don't trust Mr Kanakaris...He's going to have to show me something first....hopefully he'll get another WEB page involved and the stock will run up... All you people out in micro cap land when a stock goes from $2.00-3.00 down to 34 cents that doesn't mean it can't go lower!!!! God forbid but stocks do go to single digits.... I know that's Coffee Pot's favorite genre... I Hope the Kan Man has something up his sleeve
