I have a buy order sitting at 0.38 for the last 3 hours
which still hasn't gotten filled. Note that the bid is
0.34 and the ask is 0.43 (wide spread). They don't raise
the bid, nevertheless.

Well, all I can say is that the selling is done and
the buying is starting. Hold on and you will be rewarded.

Actually, Not much selling. See the volume. It is standing
still. I think when KANA shows a little strength, many
investors will jump in and the price will go straight up.

Let's wait and see. I see only upside from here - we are
on the ground floor.

From what I can deduce, "they" only want you to sell, not buy.
Of course, there are a few people who are selling at these
prices, but not many.

I don't know how you can make that deduction. A more accurate deduction it that they don't want you to buy under .406. At .406 or better they are happy for you to buy. If you want proof, just put in an order at .406. You will see that it will be filled immediately.
