S&P and NAZ futures are up pretty good now. Look for a god run up at open tomorrow. FORE can get to 17+ if mkt favors. The last contract with UUnet/MCI is very significant. imo.

A new way to test ATM

Fore Systems and Netcom Systems will introduce the IP over ATM mesh test next week. The new test system measures the IP packet forwarding capabilities of an ATM network.

Netcom demonstrated the capabilities of the test system by running it on Fore's ForeRunner ASX-4000 ATM backbone switch, which forwarded 90, 421,120 IP packets per second without dropping or misinserting a packet.

Can anyone confirm that FORE will be meeting with BancBoston tomorrow, then Goldman at the end of the month and finally Merrill Lynch in mid-March.
