Darn, I thought I posted the board during the past few moves but cannot find it.

I guess I have to re-create the entire thing......I will be back shortly.

Dammit, they did it again.

I have to wait until I piece it together again, I threw out all my notes.

Please excuse my jumping in with a question; I have not followed this thread before.

I used to play Chessmaster 2100 years ago against an old 8088 chip running at about 8MHz but since things moved on past 25 MHz I have been unable to beat it. Then I began to suspect it might be my own problem (I am sixty years old). But today I BEAT it, with it running on a 133 MHz Pentium and without any limit on searching ahead.

Does anyone have any idea what kind of a rating that version running at 133MHz might have.

Sorry if this is off-topic.

I don't think anything is off-topic but although I have seen CheesMaster at a few tournaments....my son attends, I no longer do....I have no idea what it's rating is.

I thought it was adjustable; that you could play it at any class you chose. But I don't really know.

If I think of it, I'll ask my son, Tommaso. But I doubt even he knows.

But I would bet they have a web-site that may clue you in.

Varouj (Challo) or Mike may be able to play, Jim.

I'm afraid I cannot spend the time these days, too busy. Sorry.
