This board has been as quiet as the share price has been bad. Not a lot of investors want to acknowledge owning IW, at the moment.
There's a fairly active board at stockhouse stockhouse.com
and another at Raging Bull ragingbull.lycos.com
It may not help much, but for what it's worth, I have no plans to sell at this price.
The share value was devastated by selling through the brokerage Raymond James. They sold over 2 million shares, which with some selling through Canaccord (another Canadian Brokerage) accounted for about 99% of the net shares sold as they drove the share price down from $2.50 to below a buck Cdn.
Now their analyst has been quoted in a Financial Post article claiming that the company is in trouble because of their low share value and need for financing.
Manipulation by a house shorting the stock? Who knows.
I think we'll survive this, but who knows that, as well.

To: Sultan who wrote (1672) | 9/6/2001 3:34:12 PM | From: Cush | | | Hi Sultan. Ya, that was the article I was referring to.
The journalist apparently didn't think to ask the Raymond James analyst if his house had a large short position that would benefit from bad press. Must have been an oversight.
Either someone through Raymond James decided to sell a couple of million shares, or they decided to short the crap out this stock. Either way, it's been bad holding.
They may be able to kill the company, or it may be killing itself with burn rate. May not matter which.
It will take something dramatic to lift it from here, especially if someone through or at Raymond James has a huge short position. If that is the case, I think they'll continue to borrow and short to protect that position.
If it's been insiders or Transamerica, we'll know in time when the Insider Trade reports show up.

I have not looked at IW in couple of years so no idea but it seems a lot of stocks had good stories.. Never panned out.. Although, I don't have IW, I am caught in some others for sure..
It might be worth looking at numbers with fresh perspective and come to a decision, one way or the other.. |

To: Sultan who wrote (1674) | 9/6/2001 3:48:32 PM | From: Cush | | | Hi Sultan. A few days ago, Shack and I were talking about discipline, over on the Ahh Canada thread. This is one of those older holdings that I should never have been in, and one that I wouldn't touch now, based on the TA.
At this stage, with this one (and a few others) I'm prepared to ride it out.
With these, if they ever move into a buy on my Weekly Charts (using those signals I use) then I'll sell at the next sell signal.
If it goes belly-up, well that'll be another hard lesson learned.
