Infowave appears to be trading this morning.

Guess they forgot to tell someone the trading was halted?

Hi calypso. I'm watching the news services to see whether an announcement is coming out.

It's a mystery, I guess.

This morning, Canada Stockwatch sent me the following-

Trading will resume at 12 p.m. ET on Jan. 10, 2001, an announcement having been made.

So far, they've traded about 10,000 shares this morning.

If you see anything, please post.

Hi calypso. Makes me feel like I'm singing a John Denver song when I say that.

Apparently there has been a notification from the TSE that the previous halt announcement was sent in error.
I haven't seen it. Just read about it on StockHouse.

Here's some wild speculation on my part.

This morning in a news release, Bell Mobility announced a news conference for tomorrow at 10:30AM.
Bell Mobility to announce:
- Major $ investment in network expansion
- Deployment of 3G - Phase 1 network speeds
- New devices for wireless access to corporate data
- Canada's first wireless multimedia services

Wouldn't it be great if Infowave jumped the gun in anticipation of this Bell Mobility news conference.

Here's some news. Hardly seems likely that the mistaken trading halt had anything to do with this but interesting none the less.

Transamerica Life Canada ("Transamerica"), announced today that it acquired a total of 56,200 additional common shares of Infowave Software, Inc. ("Infowave") through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange on Friday December 22 and Thursday December 28, 2000.

The foregoing acquisitions bring the total number of common shares of Infowave over which Transamerica effectively exercises control or direction as at December 31, 2000 to 2,506,500 common shares, or, to its knowledge, 10.21 % of the issued and outstanding common shares of Infowave.

Hi Jim. Well as you know, the chart has been looking good.

I'm using my usual mix of fundamentals, charting and gut feeling.

But this time, with this one, I'm selling when it hits $94. <ggg>
