He said that the continued low employment figures indicate that there are more jobs available then there are people qualified to fill them. Companys will have to offer higher pay to fill vacancies and that this could be construed as inflationary if these higher costs are passed on. At least I think thats what he meant anyways.

Ralph, time for consolidation, but we're nowhere close to profit taking. I'm kicking myself for not adding at $20, but it came and went so fast it passed me by. Support looks real strong at 21.
Went to Walgreens, and the Cough Drop section was sold out of CE. I asked the clerk if they were sold out, and he directed me back to the pharmacy area where there was an end-of-aisle display. It was about 2/3 stocked. I politely asked the cashier to re-stock the cough drop section, which he said would be done.
Looks like sales are good even in warm San Antonio!

Excellent action today! Looks like it bodes well for next week, judging by the surge so late in the session. I'm very impressed by the relative strength, which confirms my early impression that sales will far exceed expectations.
Anyone concur?

ALL:
Judging from how the dooms day people bailed out when hearing Greenspan speak last Thursday, and how QGLY rebounded back to almost where it was, in just 2 days tells me alot about this stock. 1. Fundamentals are in place; 2. Sales (I think) should be rock solid. 3. QGLY should meet its expected EPS easly. Note this is IMHO.

Ralph, well we can't have ants catching a cold, can we? ;}
I think this year CE will achieve blockbuster product status in the market. I only hope that Guy Q and other major holders will hold out for a fair price when the big drug companies come courting for a takeout. Hopefully it won't be until a couple years of triple digit sales growth are under the belt.
One morning last week, I started to get that scratchiness in my throat I always get first when I catch a cold, after my two year old caught one (where is Pediatric CE???). I immediately started taking CE (cherry is excellent) every four hours. I stopped taking it at the end of the day, and I'm still cold free two days later.
Have a great weekend! Louis |
