Too bad we are wiser today than we were back then. Good post.

Ellen and Al-len were very much taken by the Riley/Pugs penny stock hysteria. However, they did later clear their heads to a degree. Ellen wasn't a bad egg, after all. Al had his drinking problems.

Nobody was as vicious as the character "Pugs" and his many sock puppet manifestations. He worked overtime attacking people that offered truth and fair observation. He was as relentless in his pumping as he was in his attacks on the messengers that posted the truth.

One was left to decide if Pugs was incredibly stupid or simply without conscience. Some would argue both. Many would argue he knew the truth and simply could never admit he was wrong or lied.

I believe most would agree he was a most unpleasant individual. He maintains a bizarre website. I don't often visit it, but have on occasion when a link was posted. He apparently fancies himself an artist and poet. He would likely be a happier person if he were to walk away from the paranoid-like alternate reality he constructed.

It is still debatable as to whether he actually believes the things he espouses, uses it as a defense or simply believes others find his construct attractive. I would have to hand it to him in one respect. Within his alternate world he can splain away anything at all. Pretty handy. However, the lengths he has gone to maintain his illusion seem to have taken far more energy than would have an honest search for the truth.

The question remains as to whether he is a confused victim or a manipulator. There are indications of both. Surely his treatment of others strips him of innocence and leaves many people somewhat less than sympathetic to his plight.

As I recall, a pm was posted by someone and he was quoted as stating that he knew differently, but would never admit it on the thread... That should clear up any doubts regarding his intentions.

I suppose his quoted words in that Colorado newspaper shed light also. Something to the effect "all we have to do is pump this" while referring to TVSI or Aree whatever it is now.

Yup, that one was "personal"...the little gym owner was going to keep buying. He teamed up the the dog...and of course dumped while posting otherwise and was caught...

lol, Tide, he hasn't stopped. Now he's trying to connect his victims to terrorism.

Well, I do know that Moriarity is very clever, nefarious spectre. A sinister presence, one not to be trifled. My guess is his hands are filled with this struggle.

Has he advised Homeland Security of his knowledge?
