And look at Telegen. I believe that several years they merged a passive solar panel company from California with a woodburning stove company from Colorado, and wound up with a software company that is "developing" a flat panel display. If nothing else, it's good for a laugh.

Check out BEC Group. They were Benson Eye Care, merged with Essilor, and spit out BEC (EYE), which has shed lots of stuff including Foster Grant, and now has bought Bolle (which was private) and will split into two companies: Bolle and Optical Radiation Technologies.

I have had some success with reverse mergers, but am usually a skeptic about such tactics. However, I am currently very involved in one called VSI Holdings. The symbol is VIS (or VIS.EC/THE EC will come off within 4 wks.)If you want more details please call the Co or E-Mail me at WEISKOPFD@AOL.COM. The most interesting element to this merger is that thus far the private Co remains private, but now has all the headaches of being a public Co. The float is very much under control so I would expect acquisitions to occur in 1998 for paper. Good luck with your thesis

I can point you to two that are in the process of "reverse mergers." Both look like they will be positive moves. I like PLRN and think you will see 300% within a couple of weeks. The other is JAVA -- that one is higher risk in my opinion. Both have SI threads and most of the information is there. For what it is worth. Eric

RMIL (newest symbol for OVIS, formerly OLPV) is trying to merge with private companies. They supposedly signed a letter of intent, in Aug 197, the acquire Palco a private distributor of athletic wear. Apparently Palco withdrew and RMIL is now trying to merge with the private company RMCW, (Rocky Mountain Crystal Water). The merger is supposed to be finalized on OCT 25 or thereabouts, but finalization remains to be seen, as RMCW was also supposed to merge recently with PRTI (Phoenix Resources Tech). Now that merger didn't work out because supposedly Phoenix failed to disclose a large debt. This impacted the merger of MVP (Amex listed) and PRTI and so forth and so on...RMIL which is on it's third stock symbol in less than a year will change it's symbol again, when they get listed (wink) on the AMEX, Jump on it quickly if you can.. If you can follow that trail at all, should be good for laughs, if nothing else.
