Any ideas on the selloff/volume today? Another company with a DV solution? Or just the inevitable downward turn on "things can't possibly get any worse..." comment?
Has MactheKnife made any comments on the unconfirmed Canon partnership? I hope something is brewing for the DV Conference in Pasadena (Oct. 12). |

Digital Camcorders on the Rise International research firm Strategy Analytics, predicts a $3.1 billion worldwide market in 1998, and that DV will become dominant in the global camcorder market, reaching over 50% of sales by 2002. According to Strategy Analytics, the average digital camcorder will cost only $1000 by 2001. |

Where's the ad? I thought Canon already had a Firewire bundle option with a different company. Adaptec I believe. Are you sure this is with Radius? I have a hunch the Radius EditDV for Windows announcement will be coming before or during the DV Conference starting October 12th. |

I agree that revenues is the only thing that will ever get this stock going, but being listed on CanonDV's web site is a very nice development. This must be the first signs of the co-marketing effort we heard about.
If EditDV is not announced by the end of the DV Expo, I might have to explode at somebody at the Radius booth :) I'll be there Wednesday and Thursday. I'll look into portable FireWire options, EditDV Windows, MotoDV Windows NT...anything else?

Please do... In fact, do so twice, once for me too <bg> Better yet, grab one as a sacrifice to the DV Gods. Just don't sack the dude with the thick glasses as he's likely the programmer...

There's always another show around the corner, or another potential "good thing" that happened. The problem has been the same for years now, and I emphasize years: Nothing has ever come of this potential.
It's a very nice company, with a very nice product, that keeps doing very interesting things, that never makes any money. Rdus simply cannot translate its potential into earnings, and that is why, again simply, this company cannot get its stock out of the toilet.
Bear in mind, with all these very nice things happening, and always happening or about to happen, why is it that no one has every picked this company up for chump change? What does the industry know about rdus that its shareholders do not, or refuse to see. And I count myself in this myopic group.
