One of SI’s long time contributors hasn’t posted since Feb 05.

Silicon Investor (SI) -- The First Internet Community

I did send PM with no reply.

For what little I know about him, this seems to fit:

Glenn Peterson Obituary (1971-2024) | Welland, ON (echovita.com)

Anyone with more information?

I agree. Spelling is the same on here and his Twitter account.
twitter.com
And he had Chicago ties.
Hoping he'll turn up one of these days.

Thanks for the correction and the link to Glenn's twitter account which has also been dormant since December.

Does anyone have any ideas of where to look next?

I spent a little time yesterday [as I am from IL-WI area and also had lived in Arlington Heights IL - chicago nw suburb in early 2000's] and found (2) Glenn A Petersen's in www.WhitePages.com

One though was a "Jr" both showed age 70's and different addresses

I also hit LinkedIn.com = 1 listed no action though

Does anyone know, what he did do in the past for work, as that would help me narrow things down.

Does Canada suspend alternate side of the street parking rules on Canada Day in the event of a blizzard? :)

I grew up in Detroit. The week of the first thru the fourth was so much fun. Especially on the water. Played a lot of hockey in Windsor, Chatham, Leamington, Sarnia and other small towns. Enjoy!!!! How about a full amnesty for all S.I. bans to celebrate? RDK.

When the snow cleaning truck goes down the street, there is a build up of snow that in some cases strands the cars from backing out.

This is normal, we all have shovels, beer and back bacon in our vehicles for such occasions.

Sometimes mother nature just dumps on us.
