My 2024 wish … Clean up ancient subject marks from people who haven’t posted on SI for years. So many forums’ subject marks show hundreds of followers while they are actually dead or have been turned into private chat avenues for a minute number of people. Doing this would tell current active SI members what forums are actually relevant. PS: Merry Christmas or whatever term fits.

I was also hoping to be the first to post on SI... but my computer shut down at midnight, all the electronic clocks in my house starting beeping, my sprinkler system went on, transformers starting exploding, and a few planes fell out of the sky sparking a bunch of fires we all had to put out by hand because the phones and fire alarms weren't working either. At least that's what I plan to tell the grandkids one day to explain how rough we had it back then. - Jeff

Y2K doomers were having lots of fun with stuff like Cadillac's that were not Y2K complaint, and embedded chips found in appliances.
