I am sure all Canadian's don't know this, even though we celebrated Thanksgiving many years before it was first celebrated in the USA. Ours is in October, 2nd Monday. Here is some facts for Canadians:

The event that Americans commonly call the "First Thanksgiving" was celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the New World in October 1621. This feast lasted three days, and—as accounted by attendee Edward Winslow—it was attended by 90 Native Americans and 53 Pilgrims.

What Was on the Menu at the First Thanksgiving?

Happy Thanksgiving

The stock market is closed on Thanksgiving Day, but it is open for trading on Black Friday. That said, it will be a shortened day. The stock market will close early, at 1 p.m., on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The bond market also will close up shop early (2 p.m.) on Black Friday.

Hi Ron,

You guys already had yours, but I'll wish you another one!

Canucks are good people too. That's what we used to give you all at GMI.

Have a great week anyhow. <smile>

Bob

On December 7, 1941, Japanese planes attacked the United States Naval Base at Pearl Harbor , Hawaii Territory, killing more than 2,300 Americans. The U.S.S. Arizona was completely destroyed and the U.S.S. Oklahoma capsized.

Hi, I think you posted that video on the wrong board. This is not the gold board.
