Only eight posts on the other in 20 times the time. That thread is dead. And besides, the gif sucks. No #2 here.<G> And I did'nt say I was 1st, I said I was the only real one currently. I was first to use a gif though on SI. Ask anyone on the USRX thread. 1st to use sound. 1st to use a java-script. I'm not sure about if I was first to use anamation or not. I think D.U. got that award.
Don't consider COMS a player in this market! Yeah I know - Total Access or total control whatever USR call it, but reality is, despite the arguments I'm getting here, ASND and CSCO own that market and as both upgrade to flex then x2 bites the dust
Sounds simular to CSCO...they offer the cabability, but not on a large scale that can compete with COMS or ASND. I need to find out what future plans there are by BAY and CSCO as to gaining market share in that area...if any. ASND makes a big router now....it should be payback-time for CSCO I would expect.
Don't know these researchers. Even so I would be willing to concede a 33% market share to x2 to avoid the flames....
From a modem standpoint my ISP "has" both x2 and flex, neither of which work as advertisied so I'm still in the dark ages for analog access. However most of my work is done via ISDN.
BTW, 94% comes from the plans ASND has announced to upgrade all MAX installations to flex. So, granted it's not 94% this minute so I will bow to your 66% share but pay attention and revisit the share monthly
