OK, I was only pointing out to someone that 200mhz was not the fastest available CPU, I wasn`t claiming that Sun's 300 mhz is. |

>>Fastest for Intel. Sorry never heard of SUN 300's mhz's.Intel is a tested product, will you take seriously the notion of 400mhz's from Timbakto. Intel has already delivered 100,000 CPU's how many so far SUN has delivered will be interesting to discover another AMD.<<
Another poster pointed out to me that DEC's alpha CPU runs at 600mhz. These CPU's and Sun's are not in direct competition with Intel as they won't work in your PC. They are made for unix workstations. |

Steve:
Take a look at the release regarding CTXS and MSFT this morning! No takeover! They have reached an agreement regarding licensing!! CTXS has jumped up 5 just on that news release. The have halted at the moment pending further releases from CTXS. Cool huh? I think I am trading in the wrong arena....maybe I should concentrate more on those techies!
Regards, Kerry |

The next MSFT is probably MSFT. Microsucks is going to gobble up and buy or muscle out and kill any upstarts/competitors. Simple facts of life. That's why the big get bigger and the small stay that way or go away. |

Not true T. CTXS stood up and showed MSFT a thing or two. Not the first and won't be the last. MSFT has battles looming on several battlefronts. Netscape on one side. SUNW/Oracle/IBM on another. Not to mention the SEC breathing down their necks everytime they make an acquisition or an attempt at one. You can make a good living picking the right MSFT foes. As they win, you win. Sergio |

I wouldn't buy stock in any of those companies you mention. CTXS especially. Let's see where these folks and their stocks are in five years versus MSFT. Huh? MSFT returns about 57% annually? Am I really going to lose sleep over this? |

And nobody ever got fired for buying IBM either... Things change and MSFT is not a religion. (Although their investors might disagree)
