Speedway Report
There was not very much business Friday 4-9 at 1:30pm
and Sat 4-10 at 9:30am.I never counted more then 15 customers in the casino and cafe at any one time

The food was good as noted by Bob C and the service staff was friendly and helpful. I had Lunch and breakfast.

The decor was modern and attractive.
On Sat morning there were 40 to 50 cars on the hotel side of the building.

The management was not kidding when they said back in May 1998 "LONG TERM HOLD"

The crown jewel of the company is the Mountaineer Resort. As long as mountaineer does well we will do well.

Summary
New business, no customers, modern premises, frendly and helpful staff.
Lots of freeway construction in the area.

Bob C have a good trip to Vegas.Leave your counter at home, you will not need it.

FWIW.I live near MPark and have read here, and heard, that a race track was to be built in the future.Well it looks like a WV firm will build a $300M race track near the Pittsburgh airport. It's a 1 1/2 mile indoor track.Just thought I'd pass that on and hope they don't still go ahead with their plans. If someone has already posted this story then sorry for the intrusion........jpg

Still like MNTG

Have not had much to say.Mountaineer busy on my visits. The progressive machines they have are not as good as those at Wheeling Downs but hey if they work, the profits look ok. While I don't visit Vegas often,I like coin drop in Canada.I drive there to play.MNTG will jump when coin drop is offered! Not aware of plans for "indoor track at old Pittsburgh airport".Looking forward to great summer season.Holding MNTG for long term.

Can't find any connection to Mountaineer Park but I am interested in the sense that MNTG had Nascar plans in their future plans!?

It seams Brant it mentioned in your post.

I looked a vector vest last year it said sell @$2.75 they were right the stock bottomed at $2.00. Now we are on the rebound someone
stated vector vest said the stock could go over $4.00 a share.

There no place for MNTG to go but up.Other small cap gaming stocks made moves over the past 3 week ISLE,AGY and are trading a new highs.
The above two stocks are over $6.00 and $7.00 a share.

MNTG will raise to $3.50 -$4.25 just to fill the void.
We started the year at $2 7/16 now were at $2 13/16 +3/8 thats
about a up 15%.Anything wrong with +15% for 1 qt.

The company direction is a lot clearer than it was 3-6 months ago.
I increased my MNTG position.Watching the market makers
pounding the stock everytime it hits $3.00 $2.7/8 $2.75.There showing
no hope of closing past $3.00.There are setting the stage for the big rally based on fear that the stock will not close over $3.00.
I sold them 1,000 shares of MNTG at $2.15 based on fear the stock
would not rise ever again. Now look where we are 2 13/16.The people who are selling now are selling on the fear MNTG will crash an burn again at this three dollar level.Sooner or later the market makers will make there move.I think that will happen when the court orderd selling is over in conjunction of getting the NV gaming license.

The unknown events of the future could be a + or - for our holdings.

Bob, Bob & ALL,
Just dropped in to see what condition our condition is in!
Looks pretty ok considering the weakness in the NAZ this week!
I think the $3.00 mark is a good place to launch from. We traded over 250k shares today which is pretty good from what I can see!
Just gonna keep holdin' this one! I like it and the gaming stuff is making some progress which makes MNTG look hopeful!
Your buddy,
Jay
