BlackRock Boosts Ciena Stake by 1 Million Shares barrons.com BlackRock raised its stake in the telecom-equipment firm to 10.8% and remains its largest holder.
BlackRock last week reported its beneficially owned stake in Ciena (CIEN) rose by more than a million shares to 15,164,642 shares, or 10.8%, up from holdings of 14,119,594 shares, or 10.1%, disclosed in an Oct. 7 regulatory filing.
The Street is positive on Ciena. A consensus of analysts compiled by S&P Capital IQ rates the stock at 1.75, or Outperform, on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the most bullish.
