I know one sure fired way to get this baby to run up over a buck. If I will just dump my shares, she will run. It's happened several times before - <VBG>. I didn't even receive an annual report. I wish they would spend less on the gloss and more on the drilling!! I frequently get frustrated with these Canadian mining plays and sometimes swear to quit them - but I just like playing with fire I guess. It looked like the metals might make a return this spring - but now paper is strong again. Lets hope for a little inflation, $10 Silver and $500 gold. Then maybe some excitement could return to these plays. Damn balanced budget in the US is screwing everything up <G> |

Greetings Dave: Talked to Ron Smith (President) today. The Fluor Daniel Wright report on the Mac Zone will be released at the end of April. The drilling results on the Peak Zone are the same as previous samples. Sub-economic. Claims they are missing the target - no kidding! Unless the value of base metals greatly increases not much is going to happen with this "BILLION $ PROPERTY. On a more optimistic note, drilling could commence as early as the end of this week at Piedras Verdes site.To be followed by drilling on the Minerales site. Keep your fingers crossed. If not I guess I can only hope you start dumping shares!!!! Ola FSR |

Hi ali: Wish I could tell you more than what I have already posted. At this point I think positive results from Mexico are going to be the only factor that gets this stock moving. Nobody seems interested in the BILLION $$$$$$ MAC PROPERTY!!!!!! FSR |

Check this out: N E W S R E L E A S E Kelvin Grove Estates Ltd., a Company controlled by the Chairman of Spokane Resources Ltd. (the "Company"), G. Arnold Armstrong, entered into a Loan Agreement with the Company as announced on December 19, 1997, wherein the Company could draw up to $250,000 by way of a loan from Kelvin Grove Estates Ltd. Due to Mexican administrative delays in the completion of the formal acquisition of the Mexican properties, originally announced on October 16, 1997, the Company has borrowed approximately $670,000 from Kelvin Grove Estates Ltd. in order to advance the Mexican project which is joint ventured with Sand River Resources Ltd. Kelvin Grove Estates Ltd. and the Company have entered into a Loan Agreement whereby the Company can borrow up to a total of $700,000 from Kelvin Grove Estates Ltd., inclusive of the funds advanced to date, with all funds advanced bearing interest at prime plus 5% per annum. As additional consideration for incurring the risk of advancing the funds, the Company has agreed to grant Kelvin Grove Estates Ltd. a loan bonus of 20% of the total principal amount of the funds advanced, payable in shares of the Company at a deemed price of $0.30 per share. Thanks for the loan terms, they're SO generous to the company. BTW, how's the billion dollar Mac property doing? |

In late March, they said this in the Form 61 filing:
Fluor Daniel Wright are continuing their prefeasibilities study on the Camp Zone of the Mac Property. They reported that they have developed the base case and are running sensitivities on price, recovery, plant throughput and resources grades. Their report is expected within the next few weeks.
Where is it?????? |

Maybe they are on a different calendar than we are!! The whole junior situation is pretty depressing right now. I think that most of them would like to hold any little bit of good information until the markets pick up - but it doesn't look as if they are going to pick up. I am hoping that it is darkest before the dawn. Since I am down 70% on my Juniors PF - I may as well hold on a bit longer. |

The thread is dead, looks like the stock is dead too. Mac is history and there's no news of anything else worthwhile in the pipeline. Maybe we're about back to a shell. Ashes to ashes? Anyone feel otherwise, let me know. Happy New year john |
