Check out executioner.com there is an example there of what they call "the ultimate" pc set-up for traders. It is put together by some vendor, Sam's computers--I think they call it. But I would go with Dell or Gateway when it came time to buy, because they offer good tech support and are known as the best. And yes, speed matters!
