The Falcon is at the very least behind schedule. I'm beginning to wonder if we will ever see a Permedia NT board from Creative Labs. As for 56k modems, CREAF will be one of the smaller combatants in a standards war between K56PLUS and X2. Where DVD is concerned, there's little reason to suspect great demand for these devices until software materializes in DVD-format. DVD software is 6-12 months behind DVD hardware at the moment.

CREAF should be concerned about Diamond's Monster Sound as well, although I agree that integrated multimedia processors like the MediaGX potentially pose a greater long-term threat.
