I don't know who qualifies as a "veteran" or "old-timer" but I wasn't aware threads on SI can be "restricted" to certain categories of members. And then you are shutting out newcomers who may well have valuable contributions to make. I submit that, after a period of effervescence following Q's big recent move, those who are not genuinely interested in Q as an investment will probably leave the "main" thread of their own accord.
