To all, I bought my first QCOM in January 96 for 39 7/8 -- that should qualify me as an oldtimer. Can we change the title of this thread to include a definition of "old-timer"? e.g. "QCOM veterans/holders B.E. (Before Ericsson)". Maybe what is needed is a "QCOM for Engineers" thread since I perceive the quality of the engineering analysis to have been one of the primary strengths of the QCOM SI community before all of these "It's up, therefore I must buy it" posters came aboard.

Regarding the WCOM buyout of NXTL, what will it involve for them to switch to CDMA? Will that affect the walkie-talkie feature that is their main competitive advantage?

QCOM Veterans Rule!!!
