Any ideas on how well 6x86MX PR233 runs on VXPro boards?

I currently have a VXPro motherboard (I think it's a PCChips M537, but may also be Amptron PM8400) and am using a Cyrix 6x86L PR200 processor. I'd like to move up to a 6x86MX PR233 CPU and am wondering if I can pull that off with my existing motherboard.

The "manual" for the board has a chart for the CPU Internal Clock Speed jumpers which shows 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 multipliers, but lists all but the 2.0 as "reserved" under the Cyrix column (the AMD and Intel are not reserved, though). I'm wondering if the other mutlipliers actually will work with Cyrix chips or not. Any ideas?

BIOS is Award v4.51PG dated 4/25/97 - do I need to update this for the MX chip?

Any help would be appreciated!
