VRLN) Varlen declares regular quarterly dividend

NAPERVILLE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 25, 1996-- Varlen Corp
directors today declared a regular quarterly dividend of 9 cents
per share on the company's common stock.

The dividend will be payable on Feb. 3, 1997, to stockholders of
record at the close of business on Jan. 17, 1997.

Varlen has paid dividends continuously since 1971.
