"Ocean currents, vital for regulating the Earth’s climate, are changing. A study in “Nature Climate Change” suggests a weakening of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation. This could lead to significant climate shifts in Europe and North America. Changes in ocean currents are a stark reminder of the planet’s interconnected systems. "They highlight the need for comprehensive climate action."

Seems like shaky logic to me. First, one has to assume that the data collected worldwide over the past 175 years is:
1. Accurate
2. Relevant
3. Caused by man

Based on what we can actually prove about the Earth's history, we had extended ice ages, droughts, tropical periods that last thousands or tens of thousands of years... Climate adjustments far worse than the scariest prognostications of the climate change warriors.

Pining 1.5 degrees of Celsius on man seems a stretch. We're so influential and important to the climate that we are causing the climate to change and we're so all powerful and smug we believe we can regulate it when we can't even stop murdering each other.

so a panic action! response?

Yet no common sense consensus on how we should live...so we crowd wealthy people onto the coast and have the poor subsidize the risk for the wealthy to enjoy their "good life" through "insurance companies" regulated by the wealthy. In fact, the companies shell out a nice chunk of change to the wealthy after all is said and done.

When I see Obama sell his oceanfront homes and run for the hills, I may change my mind. Till then, I advise watching the actions of those who have real time access to information we will never see.
