BREAKING: The Trump administration has begun firing hundreds of Federal Aviation employees just weeks after the fatal mid-air collision over the Potomac River in Washington, D.C., as well as other deadly plane crashes. According to the Associated Press, the impacted workers include personnel hired for FAA radar, landing and navigational aid maintenance. The National Air Traffic Controllers Association said in a statement Monday it was “analyzing the effect of the reported federal employee terminations on aviation safety, the national airspace system and our members.”

Instead of improving aviation safety after fatal crashes, Trump is firing the people who keep planes in the air. When disaster strikes again, we’ll know exactly who to blame.
