So you are practically turning Canadian on us, eh.

I also had to take my first RMD as I turned 73 in September. I have three 401(k)s and a traditional IRA to deal with. I wish I had been moving money to my ROTH for the last few years. I was happy to find out that one of the 401(k)s had more post tax "Roth" money as my yearly contributions than it did pre-tax money so the RMD didn't hit that one as hard.

I have a significant amount of savings stashed away at CD rates as my safe, conservatively invested backup and the 401(k)s and IRAs are a little more aggressively invested, but I'm not full in with the speculation. Too late in life to go full in.

I was still pleasantly surprised how much our (wife and I) net worth increased this past year. Wife is counting on a move to a slightly bigger and better house sometime in the near future. I just wish her health were better. She is very limited on what she can still do.

Have a very Merry Christmas.
