Re: Armanino Foods (AMNF)

Conclusion; AMNF is 20% undervalued w/ a fair value of $7.25/share based on 18x PE

Company is super efficient w/ their new capital investments in processing/packaging equipment put in service at the end of 2023.

Earnings estimate for 2024 -2025 by me.

(NOTE: It is quite difficult to get updated financial information especially for 2024. Even on the Armanino Web site it only shows their latest report as 1H'23.)

The most current financial detail is from their latest report 7/22/2024 where they reported their Q2 YTD sales for the quarter ending 6/30/2024. They show the comparison for (1) Quarter Ending 6/30/2024 2024 vs 2023 and (2) Results for the Six Month Ended June 30, 2024 2024 vs 2023.

This last quarter posted the Highest Sales ever !

(Below are the % change 2024 vs 2023 for the 6 month period)

Net Sales + 5.8%
Gross Profit + 33% This is incredible reduced their Cost of Goods sold thru efficiency &scale

Net Income + 56%

Income Per Share: +56 %

6 months: 2024 $0.1910/share vs 2023 $0.1224/share

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

They are growing sales at a sold 6% per year

If you assume sales for first 6 month of 2024 at $33.2 million and next 6 month grow 3% to $34.20, then 2024 annual run rate for sales s/d be $67.40 million

Assume that they are as efficient as they were the 1st 6 months of the year gross profit for the full year 2024 s/d be (33% x $67.40) or $22.24 million; Net Income (56% x $ 22.24 million) or $12.46 million

shares outstanding: 32,065,645 = 32.065 million shares out

EPS = $12.46 million/32.065 = $0.39/share

This assumes no seasonality gains/losses but efficiency gains from their investment in new equipment in their factory.

It appears that the market is NOT factoring these efficiency gains into their 2024 operations. Now food input costs may be higher so 2024 Net Income may/could be a bit less.

This 2024 annualized EPS amount of $0.39/share at $6.00/share = 15.38x PE The Lowest Ever!

Stock s/d be priced at $7.41/share assuming the 19x PE

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is the table Perplexity built based on data I provided going back to 2019.

AMNF is undervalued at 15.5x PE

Stock s/d be valued at between 18x PE - 19x PE

$7.02/share - $ $7.41

or about 21% undervalued; You earn a 2.4% dividend while you wait
