We're still in that part of the season where what was called 1-A teams are playing 2-A teams. The 1-A teams do it for an easy win and the 2-A schools do it for a million + dollar payday. It's a big part of those school's budget. There have been a handful of upsets in those games, but I would never bet on one.

As schools start to play in conference most every week the spreads should start to narrow. I don't gamble on them so I don't follow them in that regard. With unlimited transfers in the portal, NIL, and pay-for-play, college football is in a state of flux. Until some rules are put in place no one knows what the end result will look like.
