I find stocks which have moved higher (qcom in particular) tends to pop early in the week when options are about to expire and then fall back closer to their max pain value on expiry. For me, it's all anecdotal.

I find I get into enough trouble playing with simple, long term support and resistance levels.

Momentum is great until it isn't but when it is Elroy's point has value.

Future intrinsic value is what's important and expectations there are impacted by second derivatives. That is, growth vs rate of growth or in simpler everyday car terms speed vs acceleration. I suspect that's what gama and alpha entail.

Selling is all about riding the wave.
